Now that we’ve gotten the house in order, for the most part, we thought we would take the dogs out for some fun this weekend. It is a bit of a drive, but we decided to take the dogs back to our favorite dog park at Elk Meadow to see if they would remember it. We had gone there several times before we moved, but this was our first visit back since returning to Colorado. It was a gorgeous day and I do think the dogs remembered where they were once we got out of the car.

There was just one other dog there when we arrived, but he was leaving. That gave us the run of the park and we headed down the trails with Brody and Sophie leading the way. We took one loop around the park and then a few more dogs showed up. Brody and Sophie ran up the hill to greet their new friends and everyone played well together.

It didn’t take long, but everyone was tired, so we piled in the car and headed back to our new home. We’ll be checking out the dog parks in Boulder next, Elk Meadow is just a little to far away now for a weekly romp. Hopefully we’ll find one we like just as much. I’ll keep you posted.
