The Office

I’m still adjusting to getting up after the sun comes up and going home in the dark, but other than that working at the New York office is going great. I think we got lucky with our apartment location because not only are we close to the parks, but we’ve got several subways to choose from just a couple of blocks away. My preferred train is the B because it drops me off right in front of the office, but there are other trains that get me within a block or two. The office is in a good location too, only a block to Times Square (Where you’ll find us on New Year’s eve by the way.) and right…

The Park

With two big dogs, one of our requirements for an apartment was close proximity to a park. Well, with only being about 5 blocks away from Prospect Park I think we satisfied that requirement. A little bit closer to us there is also Mount Prospect Park, which we usually take the dogs to in the mornings and afternoons. It is actually closed after dark (probably for good reason), but we’ve found you can pretty much go anywhere if you have two big dogs with you. Most people don’t want to find out if they’re friendly or not. Anyway, we enjoy being so close to both parks and every Saturday there is an open air market outside Prospect Park in Grand…

The Drive

Well, after a bit of a hiatus, I’m back, and this is the first in a series of posts that will finally show you all what we’ve been up to lately. OK, so you all probably know we’ve made our move to New York, but now you can see the pictures we’ve taken along the way. These first few pictures are from our drive all the way from Denver to Brooklyn. The fall colors were in full swing across most of the country and that made for a really nice drive.
