Here’s a few things you would not have found on my Christmas list this year.

Three Queen Weekend

This past weekend Erica and I were both feeling a bit under the weather, but we needed to get out of the apartment so we took in a couple of casual sights. On Saturday we took the subway up to Central Park and strolled through the park right around dusk. We made our way over to Belvedere Castle and took in the sights from it’s lookouts. Then we made our way South past the Boathouse and down to the Carousel. It was just closing as we got there, so we couldn’t take a ride this time. Times Square

Erica and I have wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Times Square for quite a while now, even before we planned on moving out here. We’ve seen it on TV many times, and now we’re happy to say that we’ve been there in person. Erica was feeling a bit under the weather, but she still wanted to go instead of waiting another year, so we headed out. (I’m making sure she gets plenty of rest today though.) We took the dogs for a long afternoon walk since we knew we’d be gone for several hours and got them pretty tired out.
