Being back in Colorado this year, we are able to spend the holidays with family. For Thanksgiving we visited my parents in Colorado Springs since my sister was also going to be in town. As usual, we started the day by taking the dogs out for a good bit of exercise since we were planning on being gone for several hours. We took them over to the Foothills Community Dog Park and they had a good time wandering around and playing with the other dogs that were there. Now that we’ve gotten the house in order, for the most part, we thought we would take the dogs out for some fun this weekend. It is a bit of a drive, but we decided to take the dogs back to our favorite dog park at Elk Meadow to see if they would remember it. We had gone there several times before we moved, but this was our first visit back since returning to Colorado. Well, we made it back to Colorado safe and sound! We’re still getting settled in, but here are some pictures of our new place for those of you that haven’t seen it yet.
